The Woman Behind The Words- From The Corners Of The Curve
Here at Panache, we love a blog. The support we receive from bloggers around the world is phenomenal, and every week there is a new blogger with her own story, her own style and her own passions emerging, so we decided it was time we all got to know the women behind the blogs!
We had a short and sweet interview to get to know to the lovely Callie, curator of www.fromthecornersofthecurve.com
So Callie, tell us a bit about you?
I’m Callie a 20 something year old living the London dream after moving here from Wales over seven years ago. I live with my handsome fiance (too cheesy to say it) boyfriend Dan in a little flat in South West London. We love to travel and cook and be lazy on the sofa. I love lipsticks, strong WiFi, photography and my lovely pals.
What made you start a blog?
I started this blog in 2012 as a diet diary at a time in my life when I felt pretty low about myself, desperate to lose weight and obsessed with dieting I was in a bad place. One day I decided that being negative wasn’t going to help me with anything in my life, so I decided to find a creative outlet with a new blog. This is when From the corners of the Curve was born
What is the biggest lesson you have learned since you started blogging?
To stay true to yourself and remain authentic, because people will come back and read your blog if they feel they can trust you – trust is very important in blogging
What’s your favourite destination?
Oh gosh, far too many to choose from but so far I would say South East Asia, my fiance and I travelled there for 5 weeks last December and it was where I got engaged so it holds a special place in my heart.
Where do you get your style inspiration from?
I mostly follow other bloggers and Instagrammers for inspiration these days! I also love Pinterest!
What is your one ‘can’t live without’ item?
Cliche I know – but my phone!
What are your four words to live by?
Its not four words but ‘Dust yourself off and try again’ life can throw a lot at us and sometimes we feel like we want to give up, always get up, and fight the good fight, we have only one life and we must live it to the absolute fullest!
